Oakmont’s Hometown Christmas and Parade

This Oakmont Chamber of Commerce event typically includes children’s games, entertainment, a parade, and free cookies and candy canes along with a visit from Santa. The evening culminates with a tree lighting ceremony in front of the Oakmont post office.

Overly’s Country Christmas

Create holiday memories in the walk-around Christmas village that’s filled with an array of old-fashioned traditions and treats. Winter Nights at the Museum

Community Night: Winter Wonderland

Enjoy the sparkling outdoor light display on its opening night! Live performances and interactive demonstrations will add to the event. Those in attendance can also step inside the museum to experience Winter Tales, a new immersive installation.


Delmont Christmas Pilgrimage

When: December 6 & 7

Where: Beginning at Shields Farm Log Cabin, East Pittsburgh Street, Delmont

On an approximately 30-minute walk, attendees will encounter eight live-action scenes portraying the Christmas story. Live animals, dramatic music, and soft lighting add to an unforgettable experience. Five churches in Delmont will feature different activities and food. Free bus shuttles will be available between churches and run every 5-10 minutes.


Have Yourself a Merry Local Christmas

Howl-iday Party

McKeesport Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees is an annual holiday display featuring 100 trees decorated by local schools, community groups, churches, and more. The main display is at Jacob Woll Pavilion where there will be daily entertainment, food, and a chance to meet Santa.

Santa at Sardis: A Holiday Celebration

Steel City Con

This is one of the largest comic cons in the U.S., with more than 100,000 square feet of convention space filled with around 600 vendor and artist tables plus celebrity guests.
