Allegheny County Holiday Laser Show at North Park

When: Check the website for updated details.

Where: North Park Pool, Hemlock Drive, Allison Park

This one-of-a-kind drive-in laser show is held in the North Park Pool parking lot. Guests can watch the 40-minute holiday light show from the comfort of their vehicles. Don’t forget to bring the popcorn and hot chocolate!


Christmas Light-Up at Clinton Park

When: Mid-November through early January, 5 to 10 p.m.

Where: 600 Clinton Park Drive, Findlay Township

This 1-mile drive through the park has been a holiday tradition in the community since 1993. The show is entirely produced by local volunteers and the $10/car entrance fee goes to community charitable organizations. The display, featuring everything from hand-painted Precious Moments cut-outs to Peanuts characters, feels like unwrapping your family’s heirloom Christmas ornaments.


Deck the Barns

When: December 19-21, 6 to 10 p.m.

Where: Washington County Fairgrounds, 2151 North Main Street, Washington

Enjoy a drive-through display of tractors, trucks, and other farm equipment lit up for the season! After your drive, park and enjoy more fun activities like carnival rides, a petting zoo, and visits with Santa.


Enchanted Lights – A Magical Holiday Stroll

When: November 26 through January 1, open each night at 5:30 p.m.

Where: 282 Rochester Road, Freedom

Enchanted Lights is a magical walk-through experience. The display takes about 40-50 minutes to complete. Guests can also enjoy campfires, s’mores, and craft cocktails. Tickets must be purchased in advance with a specific entry time, and proceeds go to Crisis Center North and Cross Your Paws Dog Rescue.


Holiday Spectacular

When: Nightly from Thanksgiving through New Year’s

Where: 4199 Blair Street, Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood

Joy-Thru Fairview

When: December 5, 6 to 9 p.m.

Where: Fairview Park, 129 Greenwood Drive, South Fayette

Fairview Park comes alive during the holiday season with a drive-through tour of magical light displays, live performances and characters, music, and more! Entry is free but a reserved time slot ticket is required.


Kennywood Park Holiday Lights

When: November 14 through January 1 (closed on Christmas)

Where: 4800 Kennywood Boulevard, West Mifflin

The amusement park opens its gates for a dazzling light show and more holiday fun. Thousands of animated lights illuminate the Lagoon, transforming it into a holiday wonderland. Meet Rudolph and friends, enjoy a selection of rides, and treat yourself to classic Kennywood fare.


Moon Holiday Lights Drive-Thru

When: December 6 through January 7 (Sunday-Wednesday: dusk to 7:30 p.m.; Thursday-Saturday: dusk to 10 p.m.)

Where: Moon Park, 1350 Joe DeNardo Way, Moon Township

This free annual light show winds through the park, dazzling guests with 25 light displays.


Oglebay Festival of Lights

When: November 6 through January 4

A destination for holiday lights for over 40 years, the resort offers a dazzling drive-through experience of twinkling lights and holiday music. Go for the evening or a make a weekend of it with a holiday resort package.


Overly’s Country Christmas

When: Late November through December

Phipps Holiday Lights and Flowers Tour

When: November 14 through early January (Check the website for hours and time slots to reserve.)

Where: 1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood

Meander through the impressive collection of flora and fauna, made extra special with the addition of sparkling lights and holiday displays. Step outside to tour the Winter Light Garden, a dazzling wonderland of lights and music.


Pittsburgh Botanic Garden Dazzling Nights

When: November 28 through January 3, opens at 5 p.m. with reserved time slots

Where: 799 Pinkerton Road, Oakdale

A mile-long route weaves you through forests and meadows illuminated by thousands of sparkling lights while you enjoy live holiday music. Guests can also enjoy nightly snowfall, sweet treats, and even adult beverages. Tickets with designated time slots must be purchased in advance.


Wild Illuminations at the Pittsburgh Zoo: A Holiday Lantern Experience

When: November 22 through January 11, 5:30 to 10 p.m. (See the website for specific dates of holiday closures.)

With the popularity of the Asian Lantern Festival, the beautiful lanterns will be integrated into the zoo’s annual holiday lights event. The beautiful silk and steel will be paired with thousands of twinkling lights, providing a magical walk-through experience.
