Born to Golf Tournament

Women’s Care Center is hosting the 5th annual Born to Golf Tournament! The day will consist of a picnic lunch before a shotgun start at noon. On-course games and putting contests will add to the fun along with auctions, placement prizes, and giveaways during the buffet dinner.
Brew Bash

This festival showcases grassroots art and music in the unique spirit of Appalachian culture and tradition. Check out the art show gallery or one of many workshops. Festival of the Birds

Discover the joys of spring migration at the Festival of the Birds at Presque Isle State Park, rated one of the top birding spots in the country by BirdWatching magazine. German Heritage Fest

Paws for Patriots Charity Golf Tournament

Golf enthusiasts and pet lovers are encouraged to grab their clubs and hit the fairways for the Erie Humane Society’s Paws for Patriots Golf Tournament to support the Shelter to Service program. Proceeds from the tournament help offset the cost to train service dogs and match them with deserving veterans in the community, free of charge.

Presque Isle Triathlon

The Presque Isle Triathlon is a nonprofit and a total volunteer effort. All segments (swim, bike and run) will start, transition and finish at Beach 10. All proceeds will benefit Presque Isle State Park and other nonprofits whose volunteers’ time and presence contribute to the success of the event.
Run for Women 5K Run/Walk

Penn State Behrend’s Women’s Engagement Council hosts this 5K Run/Walk, and athletes of all levels are welcome. The 3.1-mile course starts at the manufacturing and innovation center, loops through Knowledge Park on closed roads, and returns to finish in front of the center.

Tour de West County
