This year’s Canonsburg Fourth of July Celebration was packed with patriotic fun from morning ‘til night. The day kicked off with the 41st annual Whiskey Rebellion 5K, followed by the ringing of church bells and opening remarks from Mayor David Rhome and celebration committee leaders.
Crowds lined Pike Street for the parade then enjoyed an afternoon at Canonsburg Town Park with free pool admission, rock climbing, face painting, caricatures, a moon bounce and a giant slide. The event wrapped up at Canon-McMillan AHN Stadium, where visitors gathered for an evening of live entertainment and the spectacular “Calfo Kaboom” fireworks show.
