Reeling in Fun at PT’s 26th Annual Fishing Derby

The 2025 PT Fishing Derby was another splash of success this year, thanks to the McMurray Rotary and the many families who came out to cast their lines and their luck! Congratulations to this year’s winners: Ava Kirker (First Fish), Ashton Swindell (Most Fish), Noah Metzger (Biggest Fish) and Jordan Kania (Smallest Fish).

The annual event wouldn’t be possible without the McMurray Rotary and the generous local businesses that donated giveaways and prizes: PA Fish & Boat Commission, Carnegie Science Center, WetPets LLC, Rita’s Italian Ice, Megan Chicone–State Farm, Washington Wild Things, Goldfish Swim School, Miller’s Ace Hardware and Ryan Homes.
