Penn Hills School District Celebrates Veterans

Penn Hills honored veterans on Monday, Nov. 11, with two different events. The Penn Hills High School Big Red Marching Band participated in the Pittsburgh Veterans Day Parade and was especially honored to be a part of this longtime regional celebration.

Penn Hills Elementary School also showed appreciation for our vets by hosting a Veterans Day Breakfast. More than 100 veterans were in attendance, and the elementary school’s choir, band and orchestra performed while the guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
