This year’s PTMS musical was“Finding Nemo, Jr.” and it featured a cast and crew of more than 100 students who brought the Australian sea to life with impressive props, colorful scenery and creative costumes. The historic Venetia School has evolved from a rural schoolhouse into a vibrant community hub—remaining an important part of the community for 100 years. Long before it became a gathering place for community groups and local events, the historic Venetia School building stood at the heart of a growing township. The land where it sits today was first occupied in the 1700s by James and Joshua Wright—among the earliest settlers in what would eventually become Peters Township. As
